VanExperience LIVE motors into Millbrook

10th June 2015

Mercedes-Benz Vans’ ultimate test drive – VanExperience LIVE 2015 – has come to Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire, for the first time in its 12-year history.

The invite-only event for more than 1,800 van operators runs until 12 June, with three main hands-on demonstration areas to help guests assess how Mercedes-Benz vans perform in all areas:

  • Drive It – A full range drive to experience the entire product line-up from Mercedes-Benz Vans
  • Test It – A challenging off-road course to show the skills of the Sprinter 4x4 and 6x6 vehicles
  • Trust It – A safety-focused activity which compromises a ‘city’ driving course with Citan, a drive to demonstrate safety systems such as Collision Prevention Assist and Blind Spot Assist, and a self-park / reversing camera challenge with the New Vito.

There is also a Service24h vehicle on display to demonstrate how Mercedes-Benz Vans can fix over 80% of breakdowns at the roadside; a fully-accessorised van to highlight the range of products available; a New Vito with full leather fitment; details of Genuine Oil and its benefits;  and a GenuineParts display.

A complete display of vehicles is available, including vans from more than 30 body builder and conversion exhibitors, and guests have access to all areas of the business, including Management, as the entire Mercedes-Benz Vans UK team relocates to the event for the duration.

“Visiting VanExperience LIVE really does help our van buyers and drivers to make their minds up when it comes to assessing their next vehicle purchase – the feedback we receive each year proves the format is the best in the industry,” said the Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Vans, Steve Bridge.

“We welcome almost 2,000 guests to VanExperience LIVE, offering them a full emersion in to our brand and everything that we stand for and I personally like meeting as many visitors as I can, with all Mercedes-Benz Vans colleagues joining me on site for the duration.”
