Sprinter named as best Large Panel Van

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter has scooped two top awards at the VansA2Z Van of the Year celebration – Best Large Panel Van, an award shared jointly with the VW Crafter, which is built by Mercedes-Benz, and Best 4x4 Panel Van, proving its worth 
both on and off the road.
“The Sprinter is widely recognised as the finest vehicle in its class, and to win two awards really is testament to the strength and appeal of this hard-working vehicle,” Steve Bridge, Van Sales and Marketing Director for Mercedes-Benz UK, said. “This is the second year in a row we have won Large Panel Van with VansA2Z.”
VansA2Z editor Neil McIntee added: “The Sprinter is beautifully put together and is available in a huge array of configurations and multiple wheelbases with load volumes going up to 17.0m3. There is a wide selection of chassis cab variants ready and waiting to have appropriate bodywork fitted.
“We have also had the opportunity to test the Sprinter 4x4 in some very demanding conditions and were quite amazed by how proficient the system is in action; even on normal road tyres – well done to Mercedes-Benz!”
