They’re widely acknowledged as the most reliable vans on the road – but not even the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Vito are immune to drivers who lock their keys inside, fill up with the wrong fuel, or flatten their batteries by leaving the lights on.
Fortunately, the headaches caused by these and other mistakes and oversights can now be a thing of the past, thanks to the new, improved MobilityGo emergency rescue package for Mercedes-Benz van operators.
Free with all Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Vito models, MobilityGo provides extra cover on top of the already comprehensive, three-year, unlimited mileage vehicle warranty, to get customers on their way as quickly as possible in the event of a breakdown, with the minimum of inconvenience and fuss.
Originally a two-year programme, MobilityGo has just been extended to a third year. And as well as helping in the event that a vehicle is stranded and cannot be started due to a technical fault, it now also covers problems caused by driver error or even road accidents.
A single call to the Mercedes-Benz Service24h hotline, or to the nearest Mercedes-Benz dealer, is all that’s needed. MobilityGo provides assistance at the driver’s or operator’s home, or at the roadside. If the fault cannot be rectified at the scene by the Service24h technician, the vehicle will be towed to the nearest Mercedes-Benz workshop.
